Glen Herbst Memorial Preseason Tournament - Spring 2026

Glen Herbst Memorial Tournament

The Glen Herbst Memorial Tournament serves as the official kickoff event for the STL West season. Formerly known as the preseason tournament, this week-long, STL West–sanctioned tournament brings league teams together to open the season through competitive play and sportsmanship while honoring the memory and legacy of Glen Herbst. View full tournament details.

Participation is limited to registered STL West teams only. This tournament is not open to non-STL West organizations.

The tournament is open to boys and girls ages 7U–14U. Divisions may be split or combined based on the number of registered teams to ensure competitive balance and meaningful gameplay. All games are played under official STL West rules.

STL West hosts and administers the tournament. Games are played throughout the week at multiple STL West member organization fields. Registering under a specific organization does not guarantee games will be played at that location. Host sites and field assignments are determined by STL West once registration closes and schedules are finalized.

Teams should be prepared to travel to assigned STL West host locations as part of tournament participation. This structure allows the league to balance divisions, schedules, and field availability across the STL West network.
