The Glen Herbst Memorial Tournament is the official preseason tournament for the STLWEST League. This event brings STLWEST teams together ahead of the spring season in a structured, league-supported format.

This tournament is open to STLWEST teams only and is not an open or public event. Its purpose is to provide early-season competition while allowing each association the opportunity to host age groups that best fit their fields, staffing, and scheduling.

Teams may register through any STLWEST association. Host sites and age groups are assigned after registration closes.

• Ballwin Athletic Association (BAA)
• Ellisville Athletic Association (EAA)
• Eureka Athletic Association
• Pond Athletic Association (PAA)
• Valley Park Athletic Association (VPAA)
• Pacific Youth Association (PYA)

• Boys: 7U – 14U
• Girls: 7U – 14U
• Depending on how many teams register in each age group, divisions may be split into separate ranking levels to ensure balanced and competitive play.

• Teams may register through any STLWEST association. Registration is not tied to a specific park.
• After registration closes, each association selects the age groups they will host.
• Once host age groups are finalized, the hosting association will create pool play schedules and bracket play.
• Teams will be notified of host location, schedules, and format once divisions are finalized.

• Minimum of three (3) games guaranteed
• Pool play followed by single-elimination bracket play
• No gate fees
• League-approved roster and substitution rules

Pacific Youth Association will be a host site for the Glen Herbst Memorial Tournament. Hosted age groups will be announced after registration closes, once divisions are finalized across the STLWEST League.

Teams assigned to play at Pacific Youth Association will have the opportunity to purchase Glen Herbst Memorial Tournament shirts.
