Tournament Overview

Pack the Park is a PYA-hosted welcome-back tournament built to kick off the season with great games, smooth operations, and a fun weekend for families. This event is designed for White-level / A recreational teams.

Pitching: Pitch Machine (7U–8U) • Kid Pitch (9U–14U)

Important Notes

Combined Ages & Division Capacity

We will be combining ages where applicable:

• 7U & 8U will play 8U rules
• 9U & 10U will play 10U rules
• 11U & 12U will play 12U rules
• 13U & 14U will play 14U rules

Division capacity (initial):

• 7U/8U: up to 10 teams
• 9U/10U: up to 6 teams
• 11U/12U: up to 6 teams
• 13U/14U: up to 6 teams

If a division is full, you may still register and will be placed on a waitlist. If another division does not reach its max team count, we may adjust and add additional teams to other divisions. This is first come, first serve.

Umpires

All umpires for this tournament are volunteers. PYA will also use Pack the Park as an opportunity to train our new umpires.

We appreciate patience and sportsmanship as new officials learn. Your feedback helps us get better fast.

Format & Awards

Tournament format will be set by division once enrollment is complete (pool play / bracket details depend on team count). 1st and 2nd place teams will be given awards in each division. Division winners will receive their entry fee back as a credit that can be used toward PYA registrations, add-ons, and field rentals (excludes concessions).
